Onassis Foundation
Onassis Foundation
Digital exhibitions that open the Onassis Collection to the public, dedicated to Giannoulis Chalepas and Theodoros Poulakis.
Digital exhibitions, collection repositories, timelines and educational games that bring a collection to the public, built for museums, galleries, foundations and heritage organisations.
Our cultural platforms (Exhibitions, Personalities, Timeline and the Cultural Repository) are deployed and operated for more than ten institutions in Greece. Each institution gets its own branded instance, its own content and its own domain, on a platform that is maintained and improved for everyone.
The Cultural Repository catalogues objects with standards-based metadata, publishes them through a public viewer and exposes an API and an OAI-PMH endpoint, so that collections can be harvested by national and European aggregators. Exhibitions and timelines are composed from the same objects, so content is entered once and reused everywhere.
We have delivered digital exhibitions for the Onassis Foundation, deployed the full platform family for municipal galleries and museums, and built an educational game for a university research project. The same approach scales from a single exhibition to a multi-institution programme.

Yes. We migrate from spreadsheets, legacy databases and common collection-management exports as part of the project.
The Cultural Repository exposes an OAI-PMH endpoint and a public API, which is what aggregators harvest.
No. Content is managed through an administration interface designed for curators and museum staff.
Many of our cultural deployments were delivered under public funding programmes. We provide the technical documentation and deliverables those programmes require.
