The brief
Collections were recorded in spreadsheets and legacy databases that could not be published, searched by the public or harvested by aggregators such as Europeana, and every exhibition re-entered the same object data.
What we built
We built the Cultural Repository: objects are catalogued once with standards-based metadata and rights information, published through a public viewer with search and filtering, and exposed through an API and an OAI-PMH endpoint. The Exhibitions, Timeline and Personalities platforms draw on the same records. Migration from existing spreadsheets and databases is part of each deployment.

Live for galleries, museums and monasteries across Greece, with collections harvestable by aggregators.
